A medical spa is a combination of a medical clinic and a day spa that operates under the supervision of a medical practitioner. The most common services rendered at a medical spa are laser treatments, laser hair removal, IPL (intense pulsed light) treatments, microdermabrasion, photo facials, injectables like Botox and fillers, and chemical peels, skin tightening or skin rejuvenation and treatment of cellulite.

Club Spas

As the name suggests, these are spas that are located in various fitness clubs. The primary purpose of these spas is, to work on fitness, but it offers professionally administered spa services on a day-use basis as well. Non-members are welcome to utilize the spa services as they are located in a separate area from the main part of the gym.
